New England – Probably New Hampshire

Circa 1780 – 1800

An attractive rural Chippendale Candlestand. The top has a successful overhang with shaped corners above a unusual delicately turned shaft. All raised on shaped cabriole legs with a good lift.

Dry surface with a fine mellow color.

Primary Wood: Birch
