NORTHERN CARDINAL WOODEN HAND CARVED & PAINTED BIRD

The northern cardinal is a songbird from eastern United States. The female cardinal is not as colorful as the distinctive red males. This adaptable bird has spread from the southern states to as far north as the Canadian border. It nests almost anywhere provided there are bushes nearby.

The Bird is hand carved out of wood and painted in acrylics. The birds are mounted on a wooden base. Glass eyes and metal feet.

The size of the bird carving measures 5 1/4″ high and 6″ long from the beak to the tail.
Overall dimensions – Height: 7 1/4″ Width: 6″

Very good condition
No restorations – exhibiting only the wear associated with its age and usage.
