AMERICAN COW WEATHERVANE

A finely crafted Cow Weathervane that is displaying fine dimensional quality with wonderful form made in its day by one of the premier weathervane manufacturers. This unrestored full-bodied form, made of hammered copper has a fabulous cast zinc head and utters. Complimenting the cows originality is its original weathered patina.
The cow’s classic profile is tremendous, replicating the exuberantly contrived folk portraiture of trophy farm animals in the 19th century. This weathervane is a fine example that transcends American Folk Art into a piece of charming sculpture for the home.
