PAINTED ROOT HEAD COOT DECOYS

A pair of hand carved root head coot decoys. Bodies are hand carved with the grain running front to back and the neck and head being made of one piece of branch or “root”. white paint decorate the beak. Decoys are in condition commensurate with age, retaining original paint and lead weight on bottom. Both sport hunters and folk art collectors will appreciate these original root head decoys.
