Circa 1880-1920

A well made buttocks basket in wonderful condition having a mellow tone patina. It’s a typical handmade rib and splint type construction. Splints are nice and tightly woven, and arched handle is sturdy. The basket is symmetrically made. A basket size is beautifully designed and pleasing to the eye.
