Very Good Estate Condition – never cleaned, no restorations.

Stuart Henry’s art mainly focused on New England subjects and landscapes. A native of Massachusetts born in Medford and a 1928 fine-arts graduate of Harvard. Henry studied art in subsequent years in England, Holland, France, Belgium and Italy. He came to the Berkshire Museum in 1931 as curator of the Arts Department and eight years later became Director. Henry retired at age 72 and remained active in the community until his death at age 85 in 1991.
