A stunning mid-century vintage oil on board painting by Ray Ramus. The painting features a winter landscape, First Thaw at Piedmont, Que.  This wonderful winter woodland landscape and stream has a nice play of light and shadows rolling across the scene. Ramus was capable of capturing and rendering the typical light of clear days in the mountains.
