Attributed to Joseph Short ( 1771-1819 )

Late 18th C American Mahogany Tilt Top Massachusetts Tea Table attributed to Newburyport cabinetmaker Joseph Short (1771-1819). This wonderful tilt-top has a oval top above a turned urn column. Supporting the above are three out swept legs ending in ridged slipper feet having raised pad feet. A Quality Candlestand in a fine old surface.
