Only a very small number of ” Untouched ” late seventeenth -early eighteenth century American Furniture surfaces today. We are pleased to offer, from a private collection, this early armchair remarkably intact an in extraordinary fine condition. There is a fine crusty old red paint over its original blue-green surface. The chair’s turnings are bold and massive as its postured stance are a most appealing feature, demonstrating the strength of the pilgrim character.
