CHIPPENDALE HANGING CORNER CUPBOARD

Circa 1760-1790

The compact and dynamic proportions of this Original Paint Decorated Corner Cupboard show the skillful hand of a rural cabinetmaker. The glass door has a wonderful graphic appearance. Found in Indiana – possibly North Carolina, primary wood is a long grain pine. The proportions, simple lines and lifting airy feeling are very eye appealing. It is our pleasure to offer this little gem that epitomizes the strength and understated elegance of the Chippendale Period.
