Polychrome Pewter-Mounted Tankard in Columnar Form from the 3rd quarter of the 18th century is cylindrical in form with a shaped handle and supported on a pewter foot rim. It is tin glaze polychrome painted with a stylized motif decorated in blue with a central bird surrounded with foliage decoration. The lid is solid pewter with a thumb rest knob

Condition is good considering the age. There are minor rim chips. There is a very feint hairline to the back of the body. This is stable. The tankard displays well. Please refer to the images.
