CHIPPENDALE PEMBROKE TABLE

Circa 1780 – 1790
A classic example of a Chippendale Mahogany Pembroke Table with square legs having nicely chamfered inner edges terminating to marlborough feet which are joined by a cross stretchers. The top and drop leaves are adorned with a exceptionally figured flame grain mahogany that is truly magnificent. A single drawer is retaining its original brass. This is a refined table of minimalist form, yet there is a sense of stability and restrained elegance in the design. The choice of a most desirable wood, wonderful scale, original surface and very good condition gives this table a strong presence.
This Fine Quality Pembroke Table would be a wonderful addition to anyone’s Americana Collection.
