American Roundabout / Corner Chair

Circa 1780 -1800

Painted Slat-back Round-about Chair with shaped carved backrest over flattened arms with outward scrolling handholds. Arms are supported by turned arm supports centered with double arched slats. Front turned leg and arm supports have upper vase turnings. Front leg has a turned foot with legs connected with double stretchers. Original black painted surface.
