CHIPPENDALE TALL CHEST

Circa 1760 -1790

A well proportioned Chippendale cherry six drawer chest. A projecting flat molded cornice is above six long graduated dovetailed drawers with overhanging thumb-molded edges. The chest is lifted and is distinctly standing on a molded base with tall applied straight bracket feet. This is a fine rural example standing in wonderful condition with a mellow red surface.
