FIRKIN – A wooden vessel or tub for sugar, butter, etc.
Painted White over several coats – base color appears to be green. 19th century wood staved firkin with finger lapped wood bands. Bentwood handle attached with wood pegs and original lid. Handle moves to either side. Nice unpainted wood inside.
