Circa 1850-1880

Shaker Covered Bentwood Oval Box, pine top and bottom, maple sides top and bottom affixed with nails. This Shaker box has the distinctive finger joint construction on both the box and lid. (box having three fingers – top has one). The fingers are fastened with copper tacks.

Original light varnish finish.
No chips / cracks / restorations or repairs.
Length: 5 15/16″ – Width: 3 7/8″ – Height: 2 1/2″
