FANCY WORK STAR SHAPE TRINKET BASKET

Circa 1880-1900

This wonderful Vintage Star Shape Trinket Basket was made either for a specific purpose or just a novelty. A very unusual design for a covered basket. Its construction and woven splint are meticulously made and accented with a blue painted perimeter. Please take a moment to look at the images to examine the fine craftsmanship and overall condition.
