RACING YACHT
LEON HAFFNER – 1881 – 1972

This original painting was executed with a gouache on paper. Leon Haffner’s style of painting the water in deep marine colors below a bright blue realistic sky is a wonderful contrast. The racing yacht in the foreground has a nice three dimensional feeling as if it is being sweep across the water with a strong steady wind. A original painting in beautiful condition from a collection in Skaneateles, New York.
