A fine example of a American Folk Art Whirligig – Witch Flying on Her Broom. Very nicely wooden carved with tin details all with its original polychrome painted decoration. This nice piece of Americana is from a N.J. collection that was purchased over 50 years ago. As a whirligig, its life working outside in the wind and weather has had a limited endeavor, hence its wonderful original condition. The sculpture’s excellent detailing and great whimsical mood would enhance any folk art collection.
