CARVED WOODEN SPREAD WING EAGLE

Although it was painted white for many years, remnants of gold indicate that in its original state was gilded. This eagle is a typical nineteenth century interpretation of our national emblem. As tradition ..it was found in a NH barn. This great bird, America’s symbol of Freedom, would be a Fine Addition to any ones Folk Art Collection.
