Late 18th / Early 19th Century
A very pleasing wooden bowl found in New York. A nice shape and form, retaining its original “untouched” dry natural surface. It’s out of round top diameter has a rim edge tapering downward, showing lathe turning, resting on a modest raised foot. Under base shows expected and desired chisel marks where the block was removed after turning. A fine aged appropriate patina.
