QUEEN ANNE MAPLE HIGHBOY

Circa 1760 – 1780

This Rhode Island Highboy is of fine quality and refinement. Standing in a professional refurbished condition it is a statement of American cabinetwork. The brass hardware is dressing the mellow maple surface. The graduation of the drawers were favorably done to unite a sense of subtle beauty. All is lifted on cabriole legs which begin with scrolled returns tapering down ending in platformed pad feet. The Highboy’s wonderful fan carved drawer adds to the visual satisfaction which is proportioned to its stature. It is our pleasure to be able to offer this wonderful small scale Queen Anne Highboy.

Very good condition, professionally refurbished only to the wear and tear associated with its age and usage. Some original cotter-pinned brasses with sand cast replicas reset into the original holes.
