OVAL SHAKER “PANTRY BOX”

Circa 1850-1880
These boxes were used for storage of personal/receipts/spices and a variety of other smalls. Three standard right fingers which are nicely shaped. Construction of sides and rim are maple and top & bottom are pine all secured with untouched copper nails. Box has remnants of a faint white wash on exterior – interior is clean with no stains.
No chips / cracks / restorations or repairs.
