SIGNED HANK WALKER – GOOSE DECOY

The Hank Walker Decoy has a long and rich history. It was started 40 years ago by Hank and his son Geof. The two Walker’s carved birds consecutively in a shop first established in Salisbury, Massachusetts and later in Newbury, Massachusetts.

Bottom name plates are made of lead. Signed Hank Walker Decoy – Newbury, Mass. with wooden dowel construction were made between 1984 -1986. Wooden dowels were used as an experiment by Walker in the last 2 years of the Salisbury Shop and the first 2 years at the Newbury Shop. (only a four year period)

Decoy has original painted surface by Geof Walker. Goose head is in the alert position with tack eyes. Body has carved feather detail.

No repairs or restorations.
