QUEEN ANNE HIGHBOY
CONNECTICUT
Circa 1740 -1760
In superb estate found condition, this is a well proportioned Queen Anne Highboy. The original set of brass hardware creates a choice pattern dressing the original mahoganized surface. Even the graduation of the drawers were favorably done to unite a sense of subtle beauty. All this is raised on angular cabriole legs which taper down to very slender ankles ending in platformed pad feet. The highboy’s excellent condition and overall small scale unite to create a visual satisfaction which is proportioned to its stature. This Queen Anne Highboy is a classic expression of quality Connecticut cabinetry. It is our pleasure to offer this Fine Quality Queen Anne Highboy.
