FAMILY RECORD – FREDERICK FRAKTUR
American
Circa 1843

This fine Family Record is straight forward in terms of its simplicity and interpretation, with all details having a special meaning. Although unidentified the artist has created a well balanced documentation of the Frederick Family. The free hand painted symbols (gestures of personnel affection ) are intricately connected to celebrate the marriage of James to Eliza. Also there is an area to add the birth records of their nine children, committing their names to paper. An important obligation of documenting the dates showing the love and bond of the Frederick Family. This Family Record represents a Pennsylvania / Virginia Fraktur. A wonderful form of American Folk Art.
