A forthright Chippendale statement, this work table was made from an exquisite piece of dense mahogany and designed to have every constructive part relate. The original molded edge top correctly overhangs an apron that boasts deeply scalloped curves on all three sides expressing vitality moving into and dressing the pure Chippendale square beaded legs. The grain of the mahogany, with its patina preserved, provides additional definition of the form.
